Somewhere over the rainbow

OK, I saw my psychologist today and produced my whats good about “play” list. Creativity, my recent addiction, was top on the list. He happily agreed with my self-rambling, which all good psychologist do, I mean that is part of there job. It’s hard going to see a therapist when your feeling good, because usually a problem that your supposed to be dealing with will be dug up, but not today. I feel pretty confident and content, which is non-typical but greatly welcomed. I guess I’ve overcome the guilt about escapism for now, as I see the point of play.
And, as I sign of progress, in a strange way, I did yard work when I got home. Now, all I’ve been thinking about since morning is getting home from doc’s and making some coffee and delving into a short story or two. But when I was driving home, in the sun and blue skies, with the birds a twittering and a tweeping (look at me I’m being whimsical and creative). I got home, cut the grass, cleaned out some flower beds. And I am here a blogging and a rambling and babbling.
If your still reading this, and I wonder why, thanks. I actually got to have a good vent here for once.
Rock and Roll! (When I say this, it’s in the tone of Spinal Tap, when their lost backstage)

Sounds like a productive day for you. I love productive days! Although you’ve made me feel guilty because it’s been awhile since I helped my hubby with yard work. Perhaps this weekend I will find the time to do so. Have a good one!

Thanks KweenM, I find yard work pretty theraputic as it is, getting out in the fresh air, getting your hands busy and dirty, does the body good.

I flipped the dog turds into the azaleas in preparation for mowing tomorrow.

My son goes on poop patrol a couple of times a week. In fact, it’s the only way the kids can play out back. They must do poop patrol first, than play. Kids are great…….
We had a frost the other day and I was worried about my wifes flowers and such, but it looks like everyone is happy so far.
Peace,
